Jordan Dingle does a Q&A on his commitment to UPenn Class of 2019 guard Jordan Dingle tells Prep Circuit he has committed to the University of Pennsylvania. Dingle is the Quakers’ fifth commitment for their 2019 recruitment class. Dingle did a Q&A on everything that went behind this decision. Q: What school have you chosen to play your four years of college basketball? A: “I’ve decided next year in the fall of 2019 that I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania.” Q: What is it like to join such a talented 2019 recruiting class? A: “I’m very excited about this opportunity and the coaching staff has voiced how excited they are to work with this group. I can’t wait to meet all of the guys, learn their games and be on the floor with them.” Q: What were some of the factors that made your decision? A: “There were a bunch of things that were important to me. Some of the bigger things that were important were the relationship I had with Coach Steve Donahue, who is a very smart guy. He looks at the game in a very analytical way and dissects it the same way my high school coach does. That familiarity made this decision a lot easier for me. I also liked their play style with how they play up tempo and how they distribute the ball. Everything on and off the court seemed like a green light for me.” Q: What is it like to go to a high academic institution like the University of Pennsylvania? A: “It’s very exciting, I can’t wait to get there and meet all types of people in their respective fields. I can’t wait to learn from their great professors and see everything they have to offer. I had some higher basketball schools, but that’s not all that is important to me. Basketball only takes you so far and the ball stops bouncing one day. It seemed like it was the smartest thing to fall back on a great degree.”
